How are these ebikes using throttle ? I have both high end mid drive ebike and bafang hub/torque sensor ebike. I like my hub motor bafang ebike more because it has throttle although I use throttle very less.

I recently got AIMA Big Sur Sports and am pretty happy with it. Torque sensor is great and power delivery is smooth.

I have this ebike: https://www.aimatech.us/products/big-sur-sport I want to buy another larger capacity battery for this ebike, to replace the existing one. This ebike uses all Bafang motor, battery and other components. Intube battery 48v, Any one can help please? Thanks

How does Velo disco 2 compare with Ride1Up Lmtd you have ? I need more throttle power and like Torque sensor as well. Any other ebike you can recommend based on your exp/knowledge ? Thanks

Thanks Ravi. Since you are working on new design does it mean this new battery won't work with your existing ebikes.. mainly photon and samurai.

I wonder how good is throttle on Photon ? Sometimes, I feel lazy and want to use throttle. I am just 165 lbs and don't have very steep hills in San Diego CA. Also, do you guys charge California Tax ?

It'd be great if batteres are cross brand compatible to some extend. Great opportunity for someone to develop some standards. Also, USB-C charging would also get rid of e-waste I think so.

I love the current Photon display which is minimalist. The display itself has control buttons on it. I don't like these big separate display as I like clean cockpit.

It'd be great if there can be some degree of standardization of batteries across different ebikes. So that batteries can be swapped across ebikes. Also good to have common charger , great if we can have USB C type chargers for ebikes batteries. Good to get rid of proprietary form factor...

I am a fan of bafang motors as it is not a proprietary one and can be fixed easily by any one as parts are easily available if needed. I avoid custom motors as being developed by many bike manufacturers.

Would you be incorporating these innovative battery features across all your models ? Also, curios, if batteries are compatible across different models ? I can se Bosch motor may not take these batteries. I am eyeing your other ebike: Photon for my next purchase.
