Yeah, I thought 800 might be a little low. If the battery is UL-certified though, does that actually reliably mean the battery isnt gonna blow up when indoors?
Hello, I'm going to get my first ebike and I have a two questions. First, my budget is $800 and I'm not sure if the specs I'm hoping for are realistic. I'm hoping for 48V and class 2. I'll be going on mostly flat ground, but the occasional hill climb would be nice. I'd need at least 40 miles...
I saw an alternative to this kinda was to have a visor on your helmet like a hockey player's helmet. Looked a little goofy, but thinking about it, it seemed like a pretty good idea cuz I always fumble with glasses and wind/rain can be pretty annoying.
Well, when they're not strong enough for riding anymore, please dispose of them properly. Or, even better, they can usually store some charge for quite a long time, so some people have managed to hook them up to their solar/house battery array along w/ old car and laptop batteries.
