connected the 600c display again but unfortunately still got the same issue. Bike is not being used anymore anyways so we are not supermotivated to dig deeper into this. My guess is that the controller is at fault which might be coincidence as well; don't think removing the speed limit should...
Not sure what exactly happened, it is my brothers bike. Tomorrow I will install the other display and I will let you know if it solves the issue. My guess it is the controller but it is still worth a try.

Oké thanks for the reply, already had a suspicion the controller could be the culprit here. But for now I will leave it like this, too expensive/much of a hassle to fix this. 👍

I've got a Cortina bike with a bafang m420 mid drive motor "issue". When I turn on the motor when I'm already moving it apparently gets a bit confused and it then starts to behave really annoying with this intermittent on/off behaviour. I don't see any other error...
