2020 Giant Trance E+3 Pro energypak not charging

My bike was tuned and it wasn't an issue, if that's what you're worried about. I obviously removed the tuning device before handing it out to them though, which was a pain

2020 Giant Trance E+3 Pro energypak not charging

Update : it's apparently a charger issue. They replaced my battery and it still wasn't working, then they gave me a new charger and it's working again

2020 Giant Trance E+3 Pro energypak not charging

Checked and cleaned the connection tabs already, doesn't seem to be the issue. Since the battery is not fully discharged (had like 30% remaining) and it's not powering up the bike anymore, I'm guessing something went wrong with the battery management system or something like that. I emailed my...

2020 Giant Trance E+3 Pro energypak not charging

Just encountering the same issue...(Energypak 500 with 2020 Giant Explore E+1 Pro) Battery was at 30%, wanted to reload it with the charger, but the LED stays red - it's usually green while charging. I left it plugged the whole night thinking it's maybe still charging, but when I put the...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

I have the Explore E+1 "Pro" GTS in L, same model with SyncDrive Pro instead of SyncDrive Sport, agree that I struggled more with finding the right tools and which screws to remove, rather than with fitting the device In terms of speed, pretty much the same, I can do 45 km/h on flat without too...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

one more feedback - the higher speed does increase battery load quite a lot, especially on the higher assist modes I have a 500Wh and it's fine, but I would advise considering the 625Wh version I initially wanted to take the Fastroad EX which comes with a 375Wh battery, and in hindsight I'm glad...

No, actually bolt number 1 you just loosen but don't remove (it's removed on the pic because I was myself experimenting, being unsure how to pivot the motor) Bolt number 2 you need to completely remove from both sides (left and right), yes There isn't a third one as far as I remember. That's...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

That's where you need to apply pressure to pivot the motor (green arrow on the picture), you can use a flathead screwdriver for that

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

You need to completely remove the crank (8mm hex bolt + crank puller tool + spider), remove the bottom and right side cover, and then unscrew the motor. Only then are you able to pivot the motor to expose the wiring.

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

Look at the previous page, I had the same issue There is no other bolt or screw, you just have to push it quite hard for it to pivot, you can use a flat head screwdriver to help you that works pretty well - if you don't find where I can show you if you post a photo

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

Ok, I made it !!! 😍 Interestingly I did not have any problem fitting the device ! There was not a lot of space, but surely enough. Maybe that's because I have a L-size frame, or maybe the Volspeed V2 is a bit smaller than the Bikespeed RS. I didn't put it in the battery chamber, just below, at...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

Okay I actually managed to pivot it ! There was no extra screw to remove, but I had to "lever" the motor down using a flat head screwdriver Now the dreaded part, connecting it and trying to put it back together...

    Giant SyncDrive Pro 2020 "tuning"

Yep I've read that the back bolt should just be loosened for the motor to pivot, but as it wasn't moving at all I tried to remove it all together and it makes no difference. I don't quite get it, there is this big Torx30 nut at the back, a similar one on top which I removed (both sides), but I...
