Both of the bikes that you referenced will get a 150 lb person up the type of hills that you are describing. For me, I would buy the one from the LBS as you will have a relationship there if you have any issues.

My wife has three years on her Juiced CC and loves it. I can't speak to customer service as nothing has gone wrong yet. The videos for assembling and changing a flat tire were helpful. A flat on the rear is a bit of a production with hub drives.
