In addition to the hook arms that go over the bike frame, what else are people using to help secure your bikes to the rack while traveling? Bungees (and if so, how you run them through the bike to the rack)?

I have Aventon Levels and have cut a length of pool noodle to fit into the battery cavity which I will then wrap in saran wrap.

Well, I got it done (not without a lot of effort) and WHAT. A. DIFFERENCE! This will surely make rides much more enjoyable.

Tom I just received this same stem for my Level but couldn't get it to go down onto the frame enough...almost like another 'O' ring was needed. Did you experience this and if so, what did you do? Maybe I didn't loosen things enough to get it all the way down on the frame?

I mean, I need potty break, BUT NOT HERE!

AN UPDATE: we have found these to be a really great addition to our riding experience. About to leave on a long vacation where we will be using them a lot.
