My spouse has a Schwinn EC1 ebike and the battery charger seems to have grown legs. Does anyone know where I might source a replacement charger? Schwinn does not. The plug is weird but is a 5-pin trapezoid shape.

I tried a locksmith (to make sure I had back-ups), a locksmith noted for having a million key blanks. No luck on matching the Aventon key. My wife has a Schwinn EC1 e-bike with a similar key - no luck finding a blank for either key. Must have something to do with a standard in Asia we don't have.

I hopped on that upgrade for my pace 500. If anyone self-installs, please post a link. That's what I plan to do...

I already have a Pace 500 and have had for a while. I was asking if anyone had swapped to flatter MTB bars (which will certaintly suit me better), and if so, pass along the info and source.

Has anyone replaced their Pace 500 handlebars for a flatter mtb sort of bar? Aventon Sinch or Level bars would probably work better than the mustache bar it came with. It's a 31.8mm bar from what I know.

There is a small black plastic plug about 1/2" in diameter that fits into the stem center hole before the front part of the stem is raised, partially covering it up. I think a lot folks miss it.

I found the derailleur hanger not installed and did not notice it was missing until trying to hang the derailleur. argg. Small, but don't forget to put the black plastic plug in the stem before it's adjusted and snugged down. I don't think it is mentioned anywhere.

PAS 0 is my current (no pun intended) method. Riding around in walk mode or super walk mode is not easy I have come to find out.

I have one and it works well and seems to be quite sturdy. Not sure for the price there is any competition, plus prime it arrives in a day or so. I adjusted mine the same way, tighten until there is not much deflection then back off to preference. I will probably try a suntour later this...
