    I rode the bike on a fire road in the woods. It was a mixture of dirt, pebbles, gravel and ruts. The bike performed fine; without removing the fenders. I don't think I'll try single track or downhill; but the bike could probably handle them; if not too extreme. The brakes worked great...

    Multipurpose mountain e-bike for mixed use?

    Mike: Thanks for the advice. I am not sure of the hill grades; but the bikes I am considering offer 60 - 70 Nm of torque; and 36 volt batteries. Can the OEM batteries be replaced with 48 volt batteries. Do you know of other bikes to consider? Thanks.
