    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Continuing the train of thought about what we'd like to see in the second version of ST2... 1. Development and promotion of the Stromer platform beyond that of transportation, but now onto fitness and health. I believe there are already some manufacturers doing this kind of thing, and I like...

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Thanks for the explanation of why you use the timer. That's a good idea. I find that usually after my rides, I just bring it inside, and then it's a few hours before I go to bed, and I go plug it in to charge right then - it's reached a better temp. Perhaps that's a Stromer charger...

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Hi bluecat, I fully agree on those improvements: smaller form factor, and lighter is always better, and definitely silent/fanless. Also, perhaps a digital indicator of % charged or other metrics.

    ST1x - Drive Error 0x210206

According to a thread on stromerforum, some one with a similar situation found the solution in having a new controller installed.

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Thanks for clarifying, bluecat. There is definitely a lot of info out there about battery advice! I assumed that the Stromer chargers are state of the art and engineered as a perfect companion for all the Stromer batteries. One thing that is probably also confusing me is some posts on...

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Great suggestion! I often see flashing LEDs on bikes as being more helpful in causing cyclists to stand out more in traffic. I almost always set my removable (knog brand) LEDs (front and rear) to strobe on my non-electric city bikes to increase my visibility to drivers.

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

I agree! - A more intelligent charger to help maximize the lifetime of these expensive batteries. - Integrated turn signals (controlled like a motorcycle). (I'm really happy the ST2s already has the integrated brake light) - Some kind of solution for carrying a second battery that is better...

    Stromer ST2 - Technical review

Thanks for sharing, Ravi. It’s great to hear these opinions from someone with such significant experiences on various e-bikes. You echo what most people will read when researching differences between DD and mid-drive systems. Before I bought my Stromer, I did a lot of research including test...

    Cycle Satiator

Thanks bluecat, I did assume that there might be an issue with the interface and the Satiator. The purpose of the Satiator did seem geared towards the do-it-yourself segment, however the capabilities of the device are quite appealing for overall battery conditioning and life. I had not heard...

    Cycle Satiator

Hi everyone! Does anyone have experience using the Cycle Satiator with a Stromer ST2/ST2s/ST1x (618wh/814wh/983wh) battery? If so, what has been your experience? I assume that using it (instead of the Stromer-provided charger) would probably void the Stromer warranty on the battery?

    ST2S for Clydesdale size rider

I am 6'4", about 235lbs. I've put about 250 miles on my ST2S commuting to work. I ride paved roads and bike lanes all the way. Some paths I have options to take nicely groomed gravel paths that have some embedded rocks about the size of half a kiwi. I tried it once. Learned my lesson. It's...

    Change dealer in Omni App

I'm not sure if you can do it yourself in the app. However, I bet that if you contact Stromer directly they can probably do it on the back-end.

    Solution for bike-to-bike communication?

I realize this is a old thread that seems to have been revived lately, but I wanted to add a product which I did not see mentioned. I have never tried it, nor am I affiliated with the company, however it seems to meet the needs of the original poster. The LINX Smart Cycling Helmet by Coros...
