I'm about to order an Omega. How easy or difficult is it to remove/install the main battery? Do you need the key to install or can you just snap it in place? Thanks,Joe

Looks like I'm wrong about the shifters .. I believe they both use the Automatique.

I just did a lot of research on the same 2 bikes.. Also went with the Surface 604.. Actually ordered the Rook which is pretty much the same as the Colt.. It's for my wife so I got the S/M Step-thru.. I don't think you're insane... Joe

For the rail trails I usually ride it is just fine.. that and 40 psi in the tires...

I put new Schwalbe Marathon E-Plus tires on today.. Also took off the fenders.. Looks better to me.. and no, I don't ride in the rain!

Put the Marathon's on my Evelo Galaxy ST today.. Took the plastic fenders off while I was at it... Haven't had a chance to ride yet but they sure look nice!
