    Gazelle Ultimate T10

In retrospect I haven't been entirely clean with this community. Since I view ongoing maintenance as a "non reliability issue", there is a tendency to overlook what turns out to be a genuine problem. I have been having issues with the OEM rear hub (a Shimano FH-475). From the beginning I...

    Gazelle Ultimate T10

Update: 21,000 miles. Remains trouble free. I've been riding more in the Sport boost (rather than Tour) as I'm not getting any younger. 700 miles into my 10th chain (3rd Whipperman). Changed lube to (Muc-Off) ebike dry weather ceramic and it looks to be very promising. Wear guages (KMC...

Gazelle Internal Battery Connector came loose. How to fix?

Yes. Remove the lock assembly and, along with the three battery screws, it will come out.

    Ultimate T10 battery area access

You must remove the battery locking mechanism as well as the tray. Additionally, unplug the wiring harness. This will allow the tray to shift down and tilt out.

    Posture help needed!

Ugh. I feel your pain! Before (what may be) a long period of saddle trial and error, the cost and frustration of which accumulates, consider this. I've been on it for thousands of miles now (after decades of chasing saddles and systems) and find it to be the holy grail for me. No padded...

    Need Saddle Advice!

Consider this. I have the S-M. No need for chamois. Works as advertised. https://www.ergonbike.com/en/product-details.html?anr=44041002&s=sctouring&a=saettel

    eBike service ?

A fellow Bosch user here with the better part of 19,000 miles on a 3 yo Gazelle Ultimate T10. All have been trouble free and I'm not aware of any scheduled or preventative maintenance suggested other than good use practices. Keep it dry and ride on! It'll let you know (by noise or feel) if it...

Charging port cover - won't seat

Probably the only thing wrong about a Gazelle Ultimate T10! Lived with it for a long time. CAREFULLY nip the nub down to size. One tiny bit at a time followed by trying it out. Alternate sides each nip. Use something like fine fingernail scissors. Only a BIT at a time. It will seat...

    Motor clicking

With these large, hollow, ebike frames the sound travels a great deal. Swap pedals? They have directional threads! I chased clicks and clacks myself. The most elusive turned out to be the adjusting bolt on my stem. It too manifested itself with each pedal stroke (as mirrored by my...

Whom pays for your charge ?

    Bosch Powertube 500 here on a 65 nm mid motor. Since 9-25-24: 5575 miles. 54 KWH. 103 miles/KWH. $8.12

Re: Chains I do admit to being slightly overboard on chain replacement, but (to my mind) not unreasonable. For example, if most chain checkers say to replace at .8%, I do so at .6%. As mentioned elsewhere, I would get up to 3,000 miles on a European (website purchased) e10 but as low as 1,700...

    Gazelle Ultimate T10

I failed to mention that (about 800 miles ago) I replaced the stock monoshock fork with a SR Suntour NEXe25. The result was much more steering response and better ride in the rough. To my mind, changing the characteristics of the bike from trekking to sport. An occasional 're-invention' doesn't...
