I'm a retired senior citizen living in Evergreen these past 28 years. I recently purchased a very nice peviousley owned 2020 Specialized Vado with 1500 miles on it.... I love it! I currently do my daily rides across the street in Evergreen's Bergan Park (paved); then onto the path under the overpass into Elk Meadow park (awesome trails). My bike's current tires are the originals and not aggressive enough for the gravel on the Elk Meadow trails and with 1500 miles on them, pretty worn out. I've always been very mechanically inclined my whole life and feel very comfortable performing any bike (or anything) repairs myself.
I spent over 30-years as a (print media) magazine publisher. This internet thing put me out of work at in a very lucrative career 10 years ago. After my forced retirement I owned a=started a very lucrative Handyman business here in Evergreen....however some serious back issues lead me to close that business three years ago.
This is my first bike I've owned since my "Wester Auto Wizard" with "long horn handlebars" I received on my 7th birthday growing up in Dallas in the 50's and 60's. No back issues while riding my new bike! The electric power boost allows me to go up hills and rough terrain with no back pain.
I LOVE this Vado... while doing some intensive research I have concluded the only difference between the Specialized "Turbo" and the "Vado" is the "Turbo" has no fenders and most probably came with a more aggressive tires.
I am researching for an information source that can recommend to me a better set of new tires with a more aggressive tread to purchase... which I will personally install, as well as doing my own maintenance on my new bike myself.
Hope surely hope I qualify to be a member of this forum... it looks very interesting and informative.
