This is my review of the Abound. I've been using it for the past couple of months (200+ miles) and it's been my favorite cargo ebike. It really suits my needs and preferences really well.
Like most brands this weekend, Aventon is currently having a Labor Day sale.
I just started riding the Aventon Abound which is $500 Off during this sale ($1699)
I just bought the e1.2 and IMO it's perfectly fine. Yes it has a max speed is 20 mph (yes @CVP33 I confirmed today. Pretty sure the chain ring was upgraded), it has no throttle and has a battery of 48V/14AH...I'm fine with all of this. I've ridden it for about 10 miles and it's been fun. Also I...
I know there are other ebikes with bigger motors or bigger batteries but out of the box the RCS is such a beast. I loved it and for $1899 it's a great deal.
Throttle option too....you gotta get all the facts! Ha.
It was short ride but we're hoping to get it or buy it soon. We rode the regular Roadster for almost 1k miles
It was fun...We went to the event they had in Irvine a couple of years ago and the one over the weekend was much better planned...there were about 25-30 ebike brands and most of the EV car makers. I'd recommend it for next year.
I've had a Radwagon 4 for a while (1.5 yrs) and a Flyer L885 for almost a year and I thought those two were solid, but I'm a fan of the XPedition. It's such an approachable cargo ebike.
