How does an E-bike charger work? [ Video with Animation]

Greatly educational video Ravi! I already was aware of most of these concepts but these explanations were fantastic - especially great for users dipping their toes into the world of eBikes!

    lights out

I would check to see if there is voltage going to the headlight or taillight using a multimeter. To do that unplug wires going to headlight or taillight, turn on the bike, turn on the headlight using your control pad and check the voltage at the wires. Not sure of the exact model you have but if...

    Monte Capro Ultra

AL Sensitivity is just the sensitivity of the ambient light sensor which is built into the display and turns on/off headlights (if connected) when the sensor detect certain amounts of light (or lack of light).

    Integrated Taillight for MD750 / MD1000 Bikonit Warthog & Replicas - Bafang Ultra M510 / G620 Mid Drive

I am very sure there would still be a connector on the motor to plug in a stock taillight. Would just need the proper wire to connect it. Then could probably run any 6V light.

    Monte Capro Ultra

I know the M620 motor makes a clicking noise when you walk it backwards due to the helical gears so that's likely what you are hearing. I don't know how I feel about brake sensors. On one hand, I do like the security of knowing the motor will stop when I want to stop. But delayed response when...

Questions for the Juggernaut Ultra Duo 2

I have my sources and I know I am talking on the M620. They also seem to be pretty transparent about their CANBUS bikes and Non-CANBUS - take a look at the Monte Capro Ultra bike specs section compared to say the Ultra Duo page. And I would imagine their support would be able to let you know and...

Questions for the Juggernaut Ultra Duo 2

I know for certain this bike doesn't have a CANBUS motor so that's probably fantastic news for you OP. Also as it's an electric motor you get tons of torque right off the bat so I don't see the power being limited impacting the torque output, at least from all the power:torque graphs I see...

Juggernaut Duo 3 update with some warnings for big folks (read: fat and over 300lbs)

I think the only way to get the "Battery Information" in Bafang displays to show anything is to use a battery that comes from Bafang. And they don't have much to offer for high capacity batteries which is unfortunate but a trade off to be made.

Question on serial numbered Bafang motors?

Black box with all the pins would be your dualizer which is not a CANBUS thing whatsoever - just deals with electricity. IF I correctly recall it's hooked up to your bike's charging port, both batteries and the motor and as such will charge both batteries on the bike and control which battery is...

    Canbus---- motor/parts replacement?

I have been involved with some CANBUS/UART situations. To fully convert you will need: UART Ultra M510 Umbilical UART Display (DPC-18 or 500C are my personal recommendations but it's all user preference) UART Replacement Motor UART Speed Sensor UART Shift Sensor (if your bike has a shift...

    Pre-order Q's (Jug Ultra FS Pro 2)

For the Wren hub is that $300 is also including installation on the wheel/the required wheel build that's a pretty solid deal. Especially if you don't have the skills to build a wheel yourself with some shops being scared to tough anything that's even going on an eBike.

    Pre-order Q's (Jug Ultra FS Pro 2)

I know Biktirx's support is pretty good so reach out to them and they should have better answers than I will. This also all depends on how you are riding this bike - if you are thrashing it hard on singletrack the answers you are looking for are different than riding on the streets and the odd...
