    Winter Riding Gloves

Interesting ideas and discussion. I would like to mount a light to the helmet, I just haven't taken the time to get some kind of mount yet. The extra light need is rare and not needed for the daily commute. I have the built in light on the Gazelle which is adequate and another Cygolite on...

    Winter Riding Gloves

One problem with commuting and traveling in the winter is I can't see my watch easily. So a few years ago I got a cheap B-Uhr inspired quartz watch and strapped it to my winter gloves. The gloves are nothing special, just ski gloves with a high viz accent. One of my routes takes me though the...

Ultimate C380+ Belt Tension And Tire Wear

Good to know. I was looking at replacing them after a flat earlier in the season. I would like a flatter profile so it doesn't move around as much an gravel. I never ordered new tires as these still have life and hopefully wait out the tarriffs. One flat for the life of the tires is not bad...

Gazelle Internal Battery Connector came loose. How to fix?

Thanks for the tops. I loosened the lock cylinder and with enough jiggling I got the plate out. I am sourcing some more M5 screws and loctite today to fix tonight. The good news is it happened AFTER the weekend trip to Vermont. The bad news is I missed a perfect fall day to commute to work...

Gazelle Internal Battery Connector came loose. How to fix?

So I have had trouble with inserting my battery until today when the internal connector came loose completely. The screws that hold it in place are gone. I assume one came loose so it wasn't aligned well for a while and then the second one left today. How do I get this out to fix? I removed...

2022 Ultimate T10 battery tray removal

Any idea if the C380+ is the same? It looks similar and I need to remove mine as the internal batter connector screws have disappeared and I can no longer attach the battery. Actually look at your pics mine has the lock on the same side as the charger port but at the other end closer to the motor.

Nailed It! New Tires for Gazelle

Thanks. Tannus is what I remembered and couldn't think of today. And this bike is over 3 years now and the first flat. Outside of adjusting the belt after I got the bike I haven't done any maintenance on it which was a shocker with the gear hub and a different front axle than I was used to.

Nailed It! New Tires for Gazelle

Time for new tires. I have about 6K miles on the stock tires and yesterday I got a nail so why not now? Most of the miles are on the road commuting but on weekends I like to ride rail trails. Mostly hardpack or maybe "gravel" but nothing technical. The stock Schwalbes were fine except the...

Where do you keep your bike?

At work I have a nice spot under the stairs with an exit door right there I can access. Unfortunately we are downsizing and will lose that side of the building in a few weeks.

wow that is awesome. In my house it is 2.5 bikes per person (2 people, 2 electrics, 2 folders, and my wife still keeps her older bike)
