Got a pretty good fix carving the back end out of an ABS pipe scrap and using the Poly Urethane JB Weld, tho it cracked when i installed it. But then used ABS pipe cement, and it seems better.

FWIW, AI Google says the clamp is almost certainly ABS, which is kinda good cause acetone can dissolve ABS making a chemical weld. Now my plan it to cut and shape a small piece or ABS pipe and weld it on.
