Picked up my Aurora today from the LBS. They had to install a new NuVinci shifter and cable. I also had them change the seat to a Cloud 9 Cruiser style saddle with springs. Between the troubleshooting, shipping time from Evelo, and how busy the LBS was the whole process took about 3 weeks...

Hi - I am looking for folding Ebikes with a belt drive. I would prefer motor to be at least 500 W. Anyone have any recommendations or experience? Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. I have seen the Evelo, & Pedego with belt drive and motors in the 350W range.

Still patiently? Waiting to get my bike back from the LBS. Evelo had to send a new NuVinci shifter and cable. Between troubleshooting, shipping, and LBS being busy with many customers it has taken a little longer than hoped.

Phil - how is the thudbuster seatpost and the cloud 9 seat working for you? I was looking at that but according to the Crane Creek site the thudbuster is only rated to 250 pounds. That made me a little nervous. Sounds like you got a nice bike!

Picked up my Aurora from the LBS today. Sadly the NuVinci display does not light up. I think there is a short. Tried quick trouble shooting via email with Evelo to no avail. Back to LBS tomorrow for them to troubleshoot.
