I had a very good recent experience with Lectric's customer service. My control switch was damaged in an accident, and I emailed them asking about availability of a replacement switch. They quickly replied that they had the part (including the screen as the switch is tethered to the screen)...

I agree that the Tannus Armour inserts look quite good, but the $180 price and the hassle to install were problems for me.

Thanks for all the work you did on this. My voltage reading on my month and a half old XP is quite a bit higher, 55.1 volts when fully charged, but the voltage seems to fall off very quickly. Bigcanoe posted a chart with a similar scale that he found in yet another Lectric thread...

I wonder if anyone has tried a lube on it. As is seems to be made of vinyl, maybe silicone would work?
