  • I bought a MK2 Scrambler bike. It had a 2 year guarantee. Towards the end of the 2 nd year I noticed a small decrease in range but put this down to more hills.
On the 25th month the loss of range was so big that I reported this to the company.
Their technician said it would be replaced but the CEO then would only offer a replacement at 30% discount, around £400.
Am I being unreasonable in asking for a replacement?

It is after the finish line of the warranty. Too late to call for a do over. You might need to accept the 30% savings offer. I like external batteries that I can replace with any battery I want. That way I am not stuck.
