It comes out of the box 'locked' at 20mph, you have to find the unlock code online and manually unlock the bikes software to reach speeds above 20mph. the thumb throttle I believe was a supply issue at the time they were being built overseas, but a half twist throttle is easy to add on the bike...

I'm waiting for pretty much the same bike from WickedThumb, all black with street tires (instead of knobbies) ... I really like the 'old bobber' aesthetic of it. I ordered this and the Grizzly (dirt bike) from Ariel Rider. The wait is brutal, hahaha

One of the reasons I felt ok ordering a Grizzly is because they answered any questions I had promptly, there's a phone number on the website, and I've read dozens and dozens of reviews all saying the bikes are high quality and the company is good. And even the couple reviews that were negative...

yeah it's exciting, really exciting. I decided to order an Ariel Rider Grizzly 52v as well. So now it'll be a race to see which one gets here first. It'll be fun though to have the option of a fast dirt bike styled bike, or a more relaxed cruiser type of bike.

They look like a ton of other ebikes. I guess I was expecting something a bit more from Harley. Something motorcycle inspired.

yeah that's pretty much what I like about it. I just want it for getting around town and hitting the paved bike paths with my kids. It does stink I have to wait but I had to wait to save up for it, so....
