My interest is decision making. I am a big Daniel Kahneman fan. I am devising comparison methods based on Kahneman's research.
The personal issue I cannot satisfactorily resolve is cost versus benefit. My road is a 10% grade. I have access only to two other roads: a 12.5% and 18% grade.
The math is simple and provides a clear-cut answer: NO, the cost for such a special purpose bicycle does not justify the benefit.
I would love to use a bike to transport groceries from the nearest store two miles away. I run to the store and carry 10-35 pounds of groceries back home.
I am hopeful the technology will improve and the costs will fall.
I would by the Haibike SDuro AllMtn Pro, if Curry Tech would simply import Yamaha motors to the U.S.
If the PES1 motorcycle reaches the USA before a Yamaha eBike, I will buy the PES1.
