Definitely would not keep a bike like that locked up un attended. I’m more worried about being followed and mugged which does happen unfortunately (London)
Please post pics and impressions when you can !
That burgundy red is really nice colour… I would chose that one as well but can’t look past the darker grey/black couloir for that anonymous look in the city (hopefully less noticeable for thieves..)
Did you attach the derailleur to where the thru axle attaches like with the UDH or did use an adapter ?
A pic would be really cool (I tried searching but failed…)
Yeah for sure.. I was only introduced to Specialized in 2021 and looking at their portfolio for e-bikes I thought they and SRAM were best buddies…
I don’t think the SL2 has the UDH however just zooming in on the video
Hi everyone
I am just trying to find some information about changing group set (derailleur, cassette, chain etc) on a pre set Canyon.
I want to get the Canyon grizl ON CF 9 but with the SRAM AXS eagle group set (rather than the Shimano group set which it comes with)
I know the SRAM Eagle AxS...
Well the spokesman in the video is hinting that other motors can be placed where the Pinion is at present for the new models.
So maybe there will be options on top of Bosch, Pinion (Bafang, Shimano etc)
Who knows.. but the more the merrier I think.
I never thought about this but you are right… Bosch is kinda the brains and nervous system in RM bikes..
That gives a lot of control to Bosch away from RM.
I sure due hope that bulk lightens with Bosch motors though…the Pinion sitting in it is unsightly in an otherwise decent looking frame.
Yes it will cost the price of a decent electric motor bike…
But I really like the design of the frame. The Pinion MGU does not look like it fits and is too bulky but think if the Bosch system was added to this frame it would look good.
The rear rack certainly looks much better 😅
