So just to be clear, there are not any of this particular model legitimately on the street yet? Nobody has received one that they purchased from you? So if we see this model in yellow today (4/20) it is one of the stolen?
Read the email about valuing my feedback and waiting for my feedback before issuing the GC. As you are aware I left neutral feedback and no GC was issued. Note this all occurred before the $450 refund was issued or even discussed. Not that I would need the GC anyway as I am no longer going to do...
In my opinion, this issue is entirely your fault. IMHO, you are the one that posts misleading photos on your website. How hard would it be to post authentic photos that accurately depict the colors of what your selling?
The overlay photo I posted speaks for itself, not at all as described on your website. You gave me the refund so you would not have to deal with a chargeback, so don't come here and tell lies. Here's an idea, post more accurate pictures of what you're selling so you don't continue to have this...
We are all good and the house too. We live in central Maui were there were no fires. Incomprehensible how fast the entire town of Lahaina was consumed by the firestorm. The gusts on Tuesday were above 60 mph. West Maui is isolated by the mountains so there is really only a two-lane road to the...
There are other saddles with similar designs in the $80-$150 price range online. Similar in terms of the openings on the seat to create a hammock effect to relieve pressure on sit bones. Doubt these knock offs are hand made with Italian leather though.
Try a 3-4 mm layer of tightly wound duct tape on each rail just at the clamp points, not the whole rail. I use the black color, so it does not look too cheesy. Solved the issue. If you apply it anywhere other than the clamp points the tape will unwind eventually.
Ok, applied black duct tape to the rails at the clamp points, wrapped tightly to a 3-4mm thickness. Now the clamps work better at the recommended torque. Should a $179 suspension seat post need duct tape to work properly??
I have the same issue; problem is the clamp design pinches the seat rails horizontally instead of clamping down on them vertically. If you over torque the clamp bolt your flirting with disaster should it snap while your going fast.
The Brooks flyer is a very sturdy sprung saddle made with a high-quality leather which will break-in and form to your specific anatomy over time. It is also seamless so there is no stitching that can irritate your skin. Around $100 on Amazon.
