    What chain did you replace it with? I'm thinking I'll just get a new one and quit messing with this one.

    Definitely not corrosion, I can remove it with my fingernail. The Chain is about a week old. I'm just dregreasing it and the cassette to get a wax lube applied.

    3 year old tires, stored indoor are just fine! No worries at all.

    Installing a quick link on Aventon chain

    Can I just pop out any link (I have a chain tool) on the chain and replace with a quick link? I've got the quick links but hesitated. I looked hard for a joining pin, but my old eyes couldn't find one.

    My Allant has the torque spec printed directly on the rear nut. 6 N.m max

    20 Nm is waaaay off! I've got that bike and it's printed right on the nut "6 Nm max"
