For no good reason, Folks got me my first bike in 1958' -
a 47 lb 28" fat tire Schwinn - within the first hour, it's stuck in deep sand and couldn't reach the pedals for another nine years. Lucky enough, someone stole it fall of 67".
Still had a working horn in the factory frame mounted tank. Highly suspect Chrysler stole the horn for their RoadRunner series, being it had a subtle Beep Beep Bs noise.
There's probably more to the hi-story now that we're retired.
Fortunately I toured much of Europe, living in Sweden to
quaint village just outside of Amsterdam on the North Sea, to the quietest village established 400 years ago in Germany, to a worthy 4 months of perfect weather everyday of Australia, greeting every animal they have.
And Now with custom building bikes to restoring WWII aircraft, and with the new world of Electric Technology for bikes coming of age, is just in time.
