    Bengal brake pads Aventure

Has anyone used these replacement pads? https://perfectbrakes.com/mountain-bike/bengal/ares-3/HYDRAULIC/4000063

    How is your Aventure experience?

    1) Aventon has been slammed and taking longer to respond, but they have always responded to my questions eventually. 2) The lag is definitely the difference between a cadence and torque sensor. That's the advantage of the torque sensor, but hard to expect that at the price of the Aventure. 3)...

    How is your Aventure experience?

Yes part shortages are a huge problem right now. Before I purchased my Aventure, I was looking at another bike company that replaced the torque sensor with a cadence sensor due to shortages (and kept the bike at the same price). Swapping out Shimano seems like less of an issue in comparison, but...

    Trying to contact Aventon

I totally understand your frustration. I'm lucky I ordered before they became overwhelmed. The Aventure is an amazing bike especially for the price, but you should definitely be able to confirm which components you will get. One other option is to try messaging Aventon on Facebook or Twitter...

    How is your Aventure experience?

Interesting to hear about the Sunrace. There's apparently a huge shortage of Shimano derailleurs because of the pandemic, and my guess is that this was the only way they could get the component and get the bike out to you. The Aventon website doesn't explicitly state Shimano derailleur/shifter...

    Trying to contact Aventon

Prior to the Aventure release, I would get responses via email in a few hours. Since the Aventure was released, it has taken several days to hear back. They are definitely swamped right now, hopefully it will get better once demand dies down a bit or they hire more people.

    Aventon Aventure Review

Thanks for the fantastic review! If you don't mind sharing, what rack did you use to transport these two bikes with your car?

New controller install and test - Pace 500

In addition to the speed cutoff at each PAS level, the assist increases at higher PAS levels. At PAS 2, I don't get to 15 mph on a steep hill (even though the assist never cuts off), but I do exceed 15 mph at higher PAS levels. So it looks like a dual system where there is both a speed limit at...

New controller install and test - Pace 500

On my Aventon Aventure, PAS 1 seems to assist up to 10 mph, PAS 2 assists up to 15 mph, PAS 3 up to 20 mph, etc.

Could the Aventure be a Rad Rover killer?

What makes the Aventure your daily rider over the Rad Rover? Curious how you think the two compare since you're familiar with both.

Lpinions on new aventon aventure vs r750

I will note I've only used my Aventure on pavement when going uphill so far. There are several YouTube videos from true mountain bikers who seemed to have no problem with hills at PAS 2 and above.

Lpinions on new aventon aventure vs r750

I've only had my Aventure for a couple days, but it has handled hills with ease. Hills that I used to walk up with my old bike were easy in PAS 1-3, and the Aventure flies by any hill I've tried on PAS 4-5 with virtually no effort. It's almost like cheating at the higher power levels.

    Aventon Aventure Review

I read your incredibly helpful Level review and actually placed an order for the Level, but switched it to the Aventure when it was announced this week. Thank you for the review and updates. BTW, I live in Arlington if you ever wanted to check out the Aventure in person.

    Aventon Aventure Review

Electrek posted their Aventon Aventure review, which was quite positive. I look forward to seeing more real-world reviews as people start to receive their fat tire Aventure bikes...
