I am putting together my 8Fun on my Trek Pure. Please tell me if you used the included brake replacement handles or kept the OEM and used the inline switch that is an option. If using the optional devices, how and where did you place them accounting for the very long switch cable plugging into the harness. Thanks. Maiden trip soon.

Greetings to you on this cold February day. You wrote about your Trek Pure which has been converted to a BB electric bike. I have one that I purchased about 3 years ago. I have been looking at new ebikes such as the Avolton but may have the foundation for a good BB Ebike right in my garage. I would enjoy learning about your experience with the conversion and where to get the necessary parts.
