I did ask him this morning. He will do whatever I wish. Leave it as is or make it into a V3 supported but then it makes my Core-5 no good for the Pace 500.2
I see. And agree having options is better. As long as my Core battery works and more are available if needed. I think I will tell him to leave the battery as is lol.
Aww so I should get him to clarify what he plans to do with the bike before shipping OR I should just tell him to leave the v2 battery. As is I am assuming. And then as you say I will have options if need be down the road. As a commuter every day I am really only hoping to have this 2/3 years...

Agreed. I did learn a bit from my purchase with Ride1up. Great bike for me but when I needed or wanted stock parts it becomes a pain living up here :). Tonnes of Aventon bikes in this market.
