It's a good thing nothing bad ever happens in California or people might be tempted to point out some of the very few problems that exist there as well. Glass houses and such.
I got the Fulltyme RV 1300 from Walmart for $120 - fits the Aventure just fine and has a 200 lb capacity so you could carry 2 easily.

Trying to time the market for anything is a crap shoot - you could wait forever trying to hit the best possible time to buy. If you find one you like, I'd say buy it.
Sorry to hear of your problems - maybe being unrealistic, but I'm hoping things are going to get better. Seems so many sectors of the economy are experiencing such similar problems at the same time that there's an underlying issue that will affect a lot of things when it gets resolved. I don't...
I used my Fultyme hitch for the first time yesterday - 50 miles each way and it held completely secure. I did go out and buy a 24mm socket to help with installing/removing the hitch bolt and I used short bungees for securing the wheels to the racks although I'm not sure they were needed. Since...
Good review. I had never been on an e-bike before I got my Aventure, so my only point of reference for comparisons is the analog bikes I've been riding for 60 years. Reading about your issues makes me glad I found mine at a local shop that sold it to me completely assembled and adjusted. What...
Planning on taking my bike back to the dealer for its first break-in period adjustments and the forecast is for a pretty good chance of thunderstorms. Everything I've seen tells me to remove the battery when transporting the bike on a hitch rack, but with it removed the contacts and all the...
I just got one of these: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fultyme-RV-1300-Hitch-Mount-2-Bike-Rack-200-lbs-Capacity/692554514
I haven't used it yet but it appears to be very well made - all steel (and heavy). Rated for 200 lbs. Looks like out of stock for now. I'll be using it this week & will post...
I got my Aventure in June. OP is right about the learning curve - it was fun from the start but I'm a lot better on it after riding it. I should be getting my rack today and am looking forward to getting out of town for some new terrain. No regrets at all.
I just ordered the Fultyme hitch in post #4 above from Walmart. It looks pretty good for about $120 with free shipping and it is in stock. I should be getting it next week & I'll post what I think about it.
Another vote for looking hard at the offerings at your LBS before launching off into the internet in search of the "best deal". Unless you're a mechanic you'll appreciate having someone local to help you out.
You owe it to yourself to do some online research. There are probably dozens of Class 2 ebikes out there in all sorts of price ranges. Start with searches of "best class 2 ebikes" and "review class 2 ebikes" and you'll be amazed at your options. The more time you spend looking the better your...
Good to know - I wouldn't have expected the results. Did you mean to go to PAS 4? I don't go above 3 very often but I probably should just to get a feel for what could happen.
