    Yamee

Correct Wheel size is 20". The bike reaches 27 mph without a load. Meaning tilt your bike with the kickstand down. Hit the throttle Max and you will get 27mph with settings at the correct wheel size. If you set it to 24" wheel size, same procedure it will say, 31 or 32mph, but in real world...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Not street legal here in USA either. I seen a video of a guy riding one in the UK. $1700.00 here in USA. That's including taxes + S&H. Great for off road riding. Loving them Fat tires too. None compare to my Vado though. Still it's a really fun bike to ride. Cruise control is sweet.

Firmware Update and Mission Control Problems...

Updates can be tricky especially if you tuned your motor settings and didn't set them back to default. I made this mistake. I struggled for a couple weeks back and forth with LBS. No one understood the problem. I thought the update had changed my bike from Class 3 to a Class 1. My bike's top...

A Comparison review for the Rattan Fat Bear Plus vs. Lectric XP

Works really well. Bike's display and motor is rendered inoperable. Thief would have to pedal a heavy bike away by manual power. No motor, throttle, or even walk mode. None will work unless the know your password. Also, each display is unique to your bike's serial number. So just removing your...

A Comparison review for the Rattan Fat Bear Plus vs. Lectric XP

Yeah the youngsters can run circles around us when it comes to tech. This old man figured it out. Hold +- at the same time until Display and advanced settings pop up. Scroll up and select Display. Scroll down and select Trip meter, select yes to reset trip meter. After that it will say its...

Is this the controller you're referring to? I have the manual. It came with the bike. Yamme XL 750w. Nothing in the manual about resetting the trip meter.

How do I reset the trip meter. The odometer and trip meter say the same thing. I have the green color display unit. Thank you. Yamme XL 750w foldable.

    Racktime bag gripes.

https://www.ortlieb.com/en_us/back-roller-high-visibility+F5504 Expensive but worth the money. They're perfect for the Vado Racktime racks on our Vados. Not all Racktime racks are designed the same. I believe ours has a 20 kg limit and the single bar to attach pannier. The problem with other...

    New 2019 Turbo Vado 3.0

I switch them up. For range I'll go as low as 20 ECO/50 Sport/75 Turbo. 20/20, 50/50, 75/75. Otherwise default settings. 70 miles is great on a charge. Especially, 2000 ft. Elevation. The most I've got carrying 30 pound load was 84 miles with moderate hills with little to no head wind. I peddle...

    Specialized battery solution. Problem solved!

Not all. I just firmly press until I hear it click and then pull to check to see if it's solid. I never had the battery come loose during a ride and I've never had to give it a whack to get it in place. The previous Vado I tried did have the issue with battery. Still, I don't like to take my...

Yep. My experience it's pretty easy to get to 28 mph with default Turbo settings but maintaining that speed for any length of time requires some work.

Take it to your lbs and make sure it's set to class 3. It's probably mistakenly set to class 1.

Turbo Vado 5.0 Creaking - Cracked Frame or Loose Bolts?

Good to know. I'm almost 3000 miles. I got an email from Specialized Incycle saying that the noise can be coming from a variety of places. " Creaks are really hard to track down but proper torque should always be the first place to check. I have seen it come from rear QR skewers, pedals...
