Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

Yes, meant cadence . The measurements are the same old / new bike but the handlebar sits higher and thud the right is more upright . Guess that’s why I get this feeling. Anyway will get it adjusted some time soon. Could maybe do it myself but the local bike shop 1 km away is actually pretty...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

This evening I took the bike for my second short test ride . Hope to have more time on the weekend for a larger ride . If the weather is fine then I want to ride to office on Friday - 15 km each way . Getting to know the bike better then . What I really like so far: - smooth ride , thanks to...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

The real problem is though that I actually world have preferred to test ride and then buy it directly in the store . But this is close to impossible because these bikes don’t seem to be readily available in any shop. I.e. in the end you are forced to buy it online and even there availability is...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

Yes you are right , it is s bit more chunky and the wheels are wider . That was one reason for me thinking so long about doing the change or not . But I like the new model and finally went for it. The ride is smoother , quieter and the turbo mode more powerful . Your observation regarding...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

Today was the day! I finally got my new bike. I seemed to be a long wait since the bike already had arrived at the dealer a week ago (bought it online but chose it to be delivered to a dealer for asembly) . But they said they are too busy, some people ill, bike at their external warehouse...

Wahoo ELEMNT (Roam and Bolt v2) on Specialized e-bikes (Garmin Edge compared)

in any case more standardisation would benefit everybody, be it more length & speed measures or for charger cables. Just this morning, the charger cable of my Lumos cycle helmet (the one on my profile picture) did break and as it is not USB-C , I have to order a spare cable. Looking forward to...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

More sports and a good diet will do the trick :-) I also need to burn some 4-5 kg to get back into BMI green zone. Want to cycle more and am experimenting more and more with Mediterranean cuisine. Will take my 4.0 to a trip today in this lovely sunny spring weather here in Copenhagen. Btw an...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

Nice! I will get my SL2 6.0 EQ (same colour) on Monday. Can hardly await it. Took the local dealer a week to assemble it after it was delivered to their shop from the Specialized warehouse in Netherlands. Apparently all very busy. Can hardly wait... Meanwhile I bought MIK adapter plates to...

Racktime bag works on MIK HD rack

I guess the easiest is to buy a MIK adapter plate and fit in under the old Racktime bag. This post claims that the hole pattern is the same, which is of course the prerequisite. Would not like to have to drill extra holes for it in these bags

That's the engine. The batteries have 520 Wh, like the 6.0. So both engine and battery are the same on the new 6.0. 5.0 and 4.0

Nope, the battery on the Vado SL2 is larger than on the SL1, so you get same or even more coverage. That is where I suspect the added weight mainly comes from. On the Creo SL2 however, they only changed the engine but kept the battery size.

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

As you can see in my other post, I finally bought the carbon SL2 (coming from an old SL 4.0). I was slightly bothered by the wider tires too. Guess it depends on where you live. Here in Copenhagen, Denmark, we have good bicycle paths everywhere, so no need for a wide tire that slows you son more...

    Specialized Vado sl 2 owners

I saw the black one in a store in the Netherlands and found it looked much less nice in reality compared to what it looked like in the 2 longer reviews done with it on Youtube. Therefore chose the red one. I any case you'll need a good lock for the bike and I would not leave it unattended for...
