Interesting. The reason I mentioned to check visually is because the adjustment didn't "last" or work on all 3 bikes. I just figured I did something wrong being in a hurry and not visually verifying, so this was on my "to do list" to look into. I know the technique worked on my other bikes...

Regarding the squeal, I don't think bleeding will help. You need to center the caliper. Try loosening the caliper, pull brake tight and tighten caliper while holding brake. That "should" put the disk in the center of the pads and increase clearance. Visually verify before and after.

Regarding the bad brake, took it to local shop, it had bad seal. I contacted Magura, sent photo of brake and copy of receipt and they immediately shipped out a new lever/master cylinder plus a bleed kit. It arrives tomorrow. Excellent customer service with Magura.

No I didn't remove the chain guide, just 1 bolt and used it to bolt the bash guard on over that part of the chain guide. It's clears the chain and sprocket, I was worried it might rub. Use loctite. Will field test this weekend with a ride, but think it will be fine. My old shock pump seal...

Also, even though my bike was supposedly set up for my weight by the dealer, it was way, way off. My wife's shock was way off, but forks were spot on. Buy a decent pump and set up your shock per the app to start.

Its a starting point. I think personally the rear shock could use more rebound dampening, but my Shock Pump sucks, leaks, so I ordered a decent one. It arrived but I'm on the road for work and may not ride this weekend. Ill report progress once mine is setup to my satisfaction.

Download the Rockshox App on your Phone and start there. It needs to be setup by weight and personal preference. There is no one size fits all. Get a shock pump too.

I ordered one of eBay a week ago in Purple and it finally shipped today. I think ICGS-05 will fit, when I posted above it was dark in my garage and I didn't see the mount points. Once installed Ill report back.
