    Canada?

Canada limits ebikes to 500 watts so the Lectric express is not really a choice anyway. RadRover, Aventon Aventure, and Velotric Explorer are similar and more likely available in Canada with a similar customer support reputation.

Crazy Walmart mid drive deal $349

Update: I've had the bike a few days now. I've updated my original post to change the motor version from the V20 75nm to the current C20 85nm version that the bike came with. When Walmart first released the bike it came with a basic LED red dot lights display, a 7ah battery, and the less...

    Handel bar grips

Replace them with grips that have a locking ring if you like the ergonomic style that comes with lectric bikes (with palm rest, not round). If you want to switch to round grips then it won't be as important. Press on grips are much easier to slide on with a bit of mist of water on the inside...

    Lectric service in Nashville area

Most local bike shops will do common repairs. You won't likely get them to work on the "electric" stuff but will likely get brake repair, shifting, tire, chain, gears and the like done. Ask around to different shops as you might get turned down the first few shops. For the electric stuff...

    Replacement for control unit glass

I'm confused. Do you mean the display that is mounted on the handle bar or the controller installed behind the battery input plug inside the top tube? The controller doesn't have glass... Call Lectric for the replacement display, they will send a replacement.

Flipping the stem on an XP3.0 Step Through - any issues?

Yes, rotate the handle bar back, then rotate all the peripherals, grips, brake handles, shifter, switch group.. Because the bike uses a folding stem that is also adjustable, it's not practical or simple to do anything other than adjust the handlebar. Do the easy things first.....

Flipping the stem on an XP3.0 Step Through - any issues?

Replace the current handlebar with a riser bar. Instead of mounting the handles higher, rotate them towards yourself. The stock bar is about 3/4" rise so switch them out with something that has the amount of inches you would like to have closer to you. Most bars are going to be wider which...

    Rear Brake linereplacement

I'm not familiar with the xpeak but here is something that might help you pulling cable through the frame: Use the old cable to HELP GUIDE the old cable by connecting the end of old to end of new. You can use an allen screw or anything of similar diameter to stick in the ends, then electrical...

New XP 3.0 folding step through - power bleed w/ switch off ?

Capacitors on the electronic boards and power supply control circuits hold a charge kinda like a battery even though the power is disconnected (or battery key switched to the off position). Capacitors work different from batteries though and will discharge all at once so when you push the power...

    1.0 battery discharge pin bent

The battery itself doesn't have an On/Off. There is a key that turns off the power on the battery itself but it is part of the assembly L Weaver is replacing.
