New to E-Bike and this forum

Wow, With the second battery, so high extending well into the 'center of gravity' plus the huge primary battery 'getting up there', plus your body mass ,this setup would concern me, stability wise. There's enough weight high up for the batteries to have a 'mind of their own' (momentum) should...

Do All eBike Motors Have Issues?

I've owned three e-bikes in 8 years ( Trek ) Bosch Motors, Batteries Controllers etc. 18,000 + miles total. All three bikes are still on the road with the original Batteries. Not one problem with anything. John

Getting our first e-Bike. Need suggestions

Hello, Welcome to the forum. Because of your height, I'd recommend finding a 'local' bike shop (LBS) with someone who skilled in bike fitting and test ride a couple of bikes, appropriated sized for your height. If you choose to purchase online, I'd also find a LBS that will provide support...

Can we see more reviews like this one?

I thought the review and the reviewer was excellent and fit the bike perfectly! I rarely to never view an entire bike review no matter the price point....I watched this one to the end ! Seth's points seemed very honest, spot on and helpful. I'm all for high end ($$) techie reviews, especially...

Bike tires? Puncture proof? Skid proof?

Hello, I'm a big Schwalbe Flatless tire fan. Been using them for years 14,000 + miles no flats. Check out the Schwalbe Promo video below... https://www.schwalbetires.com/blog/news/innovation/flat-less/?srsltid=AfmBOoqP3GEwPS4NFkwYcSJdiiDd0ZSjbycs6zklP0DqelZ5Hbb3Jr85 I have a set of these...

Daily commuter and rail trail rider

You're welcome. My milage / service figure 14,000 is split between three bikes, ( Two of which I have given to my middle son and family) may have been confusing. I only have 1,400 on my new Allant+ 7S. On my Trek XM700 Commuter I replaced one cassette and I think one chain in 6,000. On my Trek...

Daily commuter and rail trail rider

Hi, I read your about your initial issues with your bike and admire your determination and patience ! Great job. The Himiway looks like a very nice bike. You mentioned starting to research a replacement bike... All of posters have our 'favorite bikes' and and I'm no different. : ) Before I...

    I have stroke

Hello, Another poster wrote possible physical therapy to strengthen your right hand. If that is an option I really like that idea. A skilled Physical Therapist could be very helpful. I also really like the option of rear braking only and watch your speed. I've been riding e-Bike for years and...

Trying to decide between Aventon Level 2 or Euphree City Robin +

Hello, On the surface I'd go with Aventon. They've been around for a relatively long time. Based solely on a quick view of the Euphree website they strike me fairly 'new' ( and smaller ? ) to the e-bike market. Euphree claims 150 dealers, Aventon claims 1800. It appears Aventon is a much more...

Upgrading from Bosch Purion to Intuvia Controller

I recently purchased a Trek Allant 7S e-Bike ( Love it !! ) with comes standard with a Purion Controller. I prefer the Intuvia for the reasons mentioned prior..... More info is available at a glance and the Intuvia and more user friendly. To avoid any warrantee issues etc on my new Allant 7S...

Speed limiter off and act best eBike Pioneer

Thanks for the update. Based on ur goal of hitting a minimum of 45 MPH, EBR may not be your best website, especially if you intend to road and trail ride. Folks on EBR seen to fall into a more traditional legal (Class 2 or 3 ) style of riding.....Comments from others ?
