I also have a 48V battery and on full charge, my cycle analyst shows 54.4 volts, similar to yours. at approx what voltage would the battery be at 80%? I'm asking because I want to limit charging to around 80% or so. thanks.

Joe, I put a Magic Pie on the rear wheel of my mountain bike. I'm happy with the product so far, but I'll let you know in a couple of years what I think of it. It has a lot of power and torque. I went with the 48V battery, for the most power. Joe

I have the Panasonic Shark lithium battery 48V 11.6AH. I've read that it's best not to fully charge it and let it sit, and that it's best to charge it to 90% but do a full charge every month or so to balance the batteries. Is this true? If so, what's the damage letting it sit at full? I have...
