What gear did you use?

I would take the bike on the ferry, if the roads on the other side were a little more bike friendly. The roads on the other side are narrow, with no paved shoulder, and the locals tend to drive well above the posted speed limit. Not my cup of tea.

I carry a rather bulky tool kit, a bike lock, and a tire pump. I also use the bags to carry any layers of clothing that I peel off during a ride. In truth, I could could get by with one bag, but I like the symmetry of two bags LOL.
