    Hydra as a commuter?

So far so good. I used my bike on a trail. No issues. I keep my bike inside while using stand for 5 days or more at a time. No issues to the pedals or motor.

    Hydra as a commuter?

Just in case you're wondering, there's a spring in the legs that keep it locked when closed. So you need to pull out then move it into place. https://www.cycletaiwan.com/gearoop-cs-056-bicycle-coolstand-bike-stand-the-3rd-generation.html

Hydra Fat vs 27 vs 29. Which one and why?

I currently have the Hydra with 26x4.8. I've been told the bike may take thinner tires. But, it will look a bit ridiculous with the fork and rear being so wide. In terms of everyday riding even without pas the ride is fine. Just a bit of tire noise.

    Hydra as a commuter?

So for those interested. I just got my Gearoop CS-056 kickstand that attaches to the pedal. Thinking about it now not sure how wise it is to put a kickstand on a pedal thats a middrive. Also pedal strike on trails may be an issue. I will probably only use it if I am unable to lean it against...

    Hydra First Impressions

You will need to order the cable and download the software. Pushkar will help you make an account that needs to be approved by Innotrace. You will need the cable to adjust the PAS and throttle. Just keep in mind throttle is independent of whatever setting that's on the screen. Which is why I...

    Hydra First Impressions

I wish I took more pictures. But, I'll use some pictures from a scooter forum along with some photoshop to illustrate my process. As always you do this at your own risk. 1. Unplug the throttle 2. Unscrew the throttle. 3. You will see 3 tabs as shown in the first picture. I used an old credit...

    Hydra as a commuter?

I've been looking for kick stands as well. Since I didn't want to put a kick stand on the rear triangle of the bike I found this Taiwanese company that puts a kickstand on the pedal. Not many reviews so I decidedly to foolishly give it a try. I'll give my thoughts once I get it. Also, if anyone...

    Cerakote colors and lighting

So far I have no issue with things rubbing on it. I purchased this clear tape protector and just put in the places where dirt and grime would hit it.

I can understand a lot of the frustrations you guys are experiencing. Not trying to make excuses but besides trying to get all these bikes out and working another job the shipping is a huge issue. Sometimes the shipper would package many items on the pallette in a way that would increase the...

    Hydra First Impressions

For those curious. I weighed the bike on a regular scale. So with fat tires and no additional add-ons I got 66lbs.
