    Homage Frame Size

I am 180cm tall, and my wife’s 49 Homage (same geometry to Homage4) feels too small for me. Don’t buy it.

Transporting Cargo eBikes (specially Dutch style)

We tried a bike trailer for our dog - he jumped out every time so he could led the pack!

    Can't decide! Nevo or Homage...

I'd go Homage because it is a superb bike without a doubt, with rear suspension (including the carrier). If you need high speed, well it has to be the Homage4. If you have the cash, I'd go the Homage4. It has significant upgrades over the Homage - fox front and back suspension, dropper seat...

    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

Great they worked out for you. I love my Hope 155’s. Not had a single pedal strike on my SD Mountain in 4 years, on or off road

Using Copilot AI to find my next eBike

@sammcneill forgot to mention my last ride on the harbour bike ferry (about 6 weeks ago) my kiox controller went in the drink as the bike was being offloaded - a slow ride back to town from Port Chalmers for me!

Using Copilot AI to find my next eBike

It was a great day on Saturday for a ride, and yours was epic! I lived at Waitati for many years so I know the turf and your route well. my SD with 1150wh dual batteries would only just complete that ride on a full charge. No motor is insane! We road from our place in town along the Peninsular...

Using Copilot AI to find my next eBike

I just realise Sam, that there was no homage5 suggested by your AI query. When the pinion version arrives over here, it is probably a green light for me to swop out my SD Mountain for one. Since moving home I have become more of a cycle path rather than single track warrior lol.

Too many paved roads obviously 😂

Using Copilot AI to find my next eBike

Same. I felt this way back when the internet got going. I kept reaching for books, and it took me a while to reprogram to hook into the new way of doing things. AI data projector comparison coming up for me 😊

Interested in experience of people transitioning to a frontloading cargo bike

Good price Sam! Well compared to new anyway. I have toyed with the same idea but came to the conclusion that I would not get enough use out of the extra space, given the size of the bike. As the grandchildren grow a little more, the cargo option might tip the balance however. I’d definitely...

    Superdelite5

Not a fan of the aesthetics on the new model. It looks too "heavy" and busy to my eye overall. OMG what is with that top battery cover! Like @MD99 I am struggling to see where and why regarding the weight increase. Two of those and an e-bike carrier is going to push many towbar limits...

    New RM owner

In time you will likely want to explore different saddle and pedal options as the stock pedals are basic, and the seat personal. Potentially the same with tyres, cranks and mirrors. Plenty of posts on this forum covering all of these upgrade options with recommendations. Have fun, it’s a...

    Shorter cranks on SuperCharger 2

Ouch. I recall way back someone changing cranks for this reason, and it helping their knee problem. Hopefully they will resurface again to confirm.

    Delite and Homage 5

Fox on the Homage. Nice. Good to see they have shortened the cranks too. Love the new colour on the Delite. Looking forward to seeing the published bike geometry to spot any changes from the current models.

I Ditched The GX Stock Johnny Watts Tires...

As a previous Merc AMG SUV owner, I am keeping my nobbies on my Superdelite Mountain for looks and just in case 😂 I ride way less single track these days, and I’ll possibly get a Homage for my next bike as a replacement…but currently the noise certainly lets walkers know on a shared path I am...
