Hi! My friend is successfully using her ramp to load her bike. She keeps the bike unfolded and just lowers the handle bars to clear the top of the door frame. Once in her SUV she secures it with a tie down strap. She tried bungee cords but they wouldn't keep the bike upright. This is the ramp...

My two bikes #49xx came in perfect! No scratches or dents. Everything was tight and no noises! I was a little apprehensive with all the comments about pedals coming loose and falling off etc.

I’m going to pick up Velcro straps today. What length did you get for two bikes?

Yes, I did put some of the packing cardboard between them but there’s still a lot of movement while making turns. I would expect that the totes will make the bikes more stable. I’ll let you know how it goes!

Yeah, I have to take some measurements of the cargo area in my RAV4 to see which tote will work best, right now I can fit two folded XP’s without the totes but it’s awkward to tie them down so they don’t clang together. I thought this might keep them more stable at the base.
