I figured out how to remove the battery. First remove the cover. Then turn the key and battery drops forward about 1/2 in then you need to find a small safety release and press it doen and pull forward. The opening to the safety release is small and large fingers don't fit the space easily.

I have used an Easy Fold for over two years. I have two Pedego bikes with fenders. Multiple interstate trips with no problems.

I do not haver this problem with our two Sena R1 helmets.

I have two step thru frames. A Pedego Platinum Interceptor (mine) and a Pedego City Commuter Mid drive (my wife's) No regrets and no problems. Use a Thule Easyfold carier.

I just use my Iwatch and Iphone. All the rest is more info than I care about.

I am going to hazard a guess and say that it depends on which brand and/or type of bike you have. Also depends on whether you have cadence or torque assist.

You guys are making this way too complicated. Put a tachometer on the engine and upshift when the rpm's get to 5000 and down shift when they get below 1500!
