Also, as far as range - I am pretty sure range is calculated off of the rider information. I am 5-10 and 190 lbs. I would think range would be different if I had entered 160 lbs for my weight?
I have an Orbea Gain M20i. At 100% charge, my range is 59 miles. What's interesting is that it does not change when I change the motor maps. I have emailed Orbea and Mahle, both say it should.
Mahle did say that you don't get much assist if you are below 30%.

Yes and the benefit of buying quality from the start is that if you buy some expensive that is well made, the worst you are ever going to feel about it is the day you buy it. If you buy something that is not well made and costs less the best you are ever going to feel about it is the day you buy it.
To pair the bike I discovered I had to be right at the bike, put the battery in the Mahle and turn on the bike immediately for it to sync with the Mahle. After that, no problem. Initially I had put the battery in the Mahle in in my kitchen and then turned it on by My bike and it would not sync...
