A newby to the electric "bike" (In reality, an MG1703 Trike, 750 watt motor, 18.2 Ah battery. To date about 35 miles ridden. Balance bad, can't ride a 2 wheeler any more. Worked in electromechanical device repair, mostly in the Data Processing field. I taught basic electronics for 18 months, trained in Avionics repair, and taught VHF and UHF communications equipment for the Army. I have built and modified computers for more than 30 years, and have held an FCC radiotelephone license First class, nor renamed general class, with ship radar endorsement since 1964. I love my trike, and usually use pedal assist to go about 10-12 MPH. It will on battery power alone hit 21, but slows to 20 right away. Not planning on changing the parameters on the controller. I did some testing a couple of years ago on a trike that would hit about 30MOH, and that is faster than I am comfortable with on a trike.
