I am using the body float. I'm on the short side 5'8" and get back aches when hunched over. I moved my stock seat forward and raised the hade bars . I now sit mostly upright and am comfortable after 30th + mile rides.
Thanks for your feedback. I see you retrofitted your Rover with a Mid drive. How did you go about building the rear wheel ? Bike shop or did you do it yourself? Are thoughts on what you would do differently. ? On the Rad Mini the frame support member is nearly vertical. Do you think it would be...
Great point . I will look into that.
I'm actually planning on updating my RAD Mini to a mid hub motor when my warranty runs out.
I'm planning on building a new rear wheel sans motor. It looks like the frame will be ideal for the retrofit. I will add a front shock and suspension for the...

Caution The Silverfish battery comes in several power connection configurations. I ordered one but it didn't have the bottom power connections as on the mini battery.

I just bought my Mini at Rad Bikes 2 days ago . I love it! The shop was very helpful, I got to meet all the staff there and they answered my questions gratiously. I'm a little uncertain about the knobby tires and the freewheel sizing. I appreciate the forum and look forward to monitoring it. thanks
