Another data point for knee health: my wife is a natural 50-60. When she mentions knees, I coach her up to 80 and the pain goes away.

with the acoustic I could get my rpms a little higher then I averted on my trek that was around 75 now I can average 80 it seems easier...

the ones I have tried were horribly noisy in winter. the squeal when they got wet was horrendous. but it could just be that brand.

no you have not fixed it you used duct tape if you fixed it it would not be the issue it is.
