I had a Rover for a year, and then upgraded to a Biktrix Juggernaut that came with 4.8" tires. I think these wider tires are a little quieter, and offer a much smoother ride. More important, the wider tires don't "self-steer" as much as the Rover tires did. Our streets are crowned quite a bit...

I have a Juggernaut Classic HD, with the"SuperFat" (4.8 inch) tires. Initially there was a 10% difference between the odometer and my GPS. I spent much of yesterday's ride adjusting the wheel size in the DPC-14 until the distance traveled delta could be reduced. Setting the wheel size to 30 (!)...

You could also use one of the smart phone apps, like strava or map my ride. Course, there are pitfalls there too, smart phones are pretty expensive, and you have to remember to start the app. etc etc etc.
