You have to buy a C7 controller that was shipped "without a bike". Thats what i did. They look identical, same model number etc. Only difference is it is unlocked

Hey guys, I started a facebook group for NCM bikes owners. To share pics, ideas, whatever. Not trying to steer any of you away from the forum, not advertising anything nor making competition to this forum. I just think NCM deserves more exposure for being a good brand and having solid bikes...

I have an aspen+. Upgraded my C7 to an unlocked C7 from epic cycle in Toronto. Allows all settings to be altered including too soeed on motor etc. The ones that come with bikes are "locked".

Finally got my aspen+ and had some time to ride it. I was a little hesitant right after the purchase, before it arrived but all is well, almost ;) 1. Why dont these bikes have an ignition off/battery locked mode??? Like when you go shopping and chain it, do i need to take by battery with me? 2...

Just looked at my aspen+ and it already has a C7 display. I got into the setup menu and did not see any settings for max speed. I guess tire size would modify that but then my speed would be off.
