Bingo ! We have a winner. Ha !!!! When Biktrix sent me back my rear wheel with a new 8 speed hub they forgot the speed sensor magnet and I never even noticed. This causes the E Bike to behave strangely with a pause every 12 rotations of the pedals and all the PAS levels are slightly berserk.

O.K. Thanks Merle. It's not my hands, but, I'll look at the disc brakes at little closer. What is very strange is that it's "regular." Every 12 rotations of the pedal the motor cuts-out or pauses very briefly.

Stu, I'm having the same problem all of a sudden. Was it solved ? What was the fix ? My EBike pauses briefly every 11-12 rotations of the pedal.

How you I "reset" ? The cable seems to be moving freely since I'm able to change/move the gear selector at least 2 gears.

It's a brand new replacement hub which looked like it's well greased inside. But, yes, it might be good a bit later. I have to figure out why it's not going into 1st gear at all...the click shift just stops at 2nd gear and why it does not shift passed 3rd into 4th or 5th.

Yes. I weigh 27kilos or 60lbs more and am broad shouldered (wind) which is almost certainly the difference. If there was only a way to get a 1/2km/hr more out of my bike, or 1/2km/hr less on her bike, it'd be perfect.
