Thank you RabH. I'm super stoke about doing my first ebike tour with my dogs.

9-months owner review of my 2017 IZip E3 Protour (tips for solar charging?)

Great tips, thank you! Thank you for your tips. Looks like the best would be to buy extra batteries during ebike touring. I saw a Youtube that a guy up in Sacramento was selling a portable solar charging. Can't remember the name but I remember price was way up there.

What’s a great place to retire for an e-biker?

I think Seattle would be top on my list. I've visited Seattle a few times for work and everywhere I went, they had bike lanes everywhere. San Francisco where I grew up would be my second, and having an ebike would really help with all the hills. Venice Beach down in Los Angeles is also a good...

Here's a photo of my dogs. I bought an ebike because I wanted to cycle further with my dogs. We're planning our first ebike touring and would appreciate any tips for solar charging you can suggest. Thank you.

9-months owner review of my 2017 IZip E3 Protour (tips for solar charging?)

I've probably put in more than 1,500 miles in my 2017 IZip E3 Protour that came with the COBI tech since I got it about 9 months ago. Almost 90% of those miles, I was towing my dog trailer. Keep in mind, my dog is about 125 lbs and my little one, he's about 20 lbs. Count their weight, their...

    Cobi users

Hi BBF, Great question. I've been using my COBI now for more than half a year. It came built in with my IZIP ProTour. I really love it. I will agree with Court though - the initial setup wasn't a great experience (based from his IZip ProTour review). Took me a few trial and error, but...

    Stromer model year 2019

Wow, very nice! Stromer was my original choice because their warranty is transferable with 2nd, 3rd owner. It also comes built in with GPS. I'm eventually going to upgrade my Protour to a Stromer. Just a solid bike overall.

New ProTour - COBI Fail Issue

That's fantastic. Glad everything worked out. Heads up though - if anyone looking to purchase the Protour used, the warranty only applies to the original owner. Stromer was my first choice because they honor their warranty with 2nd or 3rd owner as long as it is within their time limit. I got...

    What's your range ?

Great question. I don't think it's cadence. It has something to do with fitness I think. I'll have to tinker with it. Do you own a Protour as well?

    What's your range ?

So far, I've been averaging anywhere from 16 miles with " Level 3 & Turbo," and I also had a 20mph headwind against us. I was also towing my two dogs (100+lbs dog & 20lbs) riding on their bike trailer, plus a few items in my rear panniers (hahaha). What's even cool, I have gotten up to 34...

New ProTour - COBI Fail Issue

I had some issues with my 2017 Protour. While initially, it took awhile from IZip to respond, but once I got to the right person, they responded. I am hoping IZip will improve their customer service because there are a ton of up and coming ebike companies that will give riders lots of options.
