Rode over to Arastradero Park from my house. Had a short break at the pond. The weather cooled down, so it was a nice mellow ride. 26 miles, 1700ft only a few miles on dirt trails.

2026 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

I tried a new route yesterday. I knew there would be some climbing but this was intense! up to 16% grade. I used the micro tune setting to go to 90%, since my Turbo is set to 70%. I returned using a familiar trail but since I did not air down my tires at 40psi, I almost crashed in the rutted...

The SRAM Apex on my Creo 2 are terrible. it is well documented online. I had mine bled after 3 rides. still crappy. terrible modulation. lots of noise, even after...

I swapped my winter Vittoria Terreno knobby tires for the smoother Conti Terra Speeds. so this was my first ride. They roll so well. not as fast as my Conti GP5000s but very nice. And I tried a new neighborhood in Portolah Valley today, I expected it as I plotted the route, but a crazy steep...

@Stefan Mikes, looks like a fun ride with your gravel gang. Nice to see your DSLR photos, such a different feel from phone photos with the default focus to infinity. I have been meaning to dust off camera and bring on a ride. I have a mini harness for my micro four thirds that I used on travel only.

So funny, I was thinking the same thing!! I know landscape photos are best without vehicles. But it is also nice to the flavor of an area with traffic and people. I am guilty of waiting for vehicles to pass when taking photos which include the road.

Specialized S-Works Aethos 2 is the lightest production road frame in the world ... Frame Weight: 595g/1.3lb (56cm), Bike weight is 13lb 3oz., so add pedals and water bottles. So I can see how it can be lifted with one finger. I would love to ride one! But, for fun, I just lifted my Ibis Hakka...
