Turbo Tero Time in Death Valley Natl Park

The earlier offer still stands, Stefan. Why wait? Come to California and you can use our Tero(s), Large or Medium or both if you have a partner. We can even loan you a rack for transporting them and can offer help with planning logistics as needed.

Turbo Tero Time in Death Valley Natl Park

In August remnants of hurricane Hillary made it to Death Valley and dumped 2.2” of rain in 36 hours (the average annual total is only 2.1”). Flood runoff caused lots of erosion in normally dry canyons and washes and covered many roads with debris. This led to road closures, and as a result of...

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Be sure to consider the reach change going from a drop bars to a flat bar. Drop bar road bikes typically have a shorter reach dimension because they have longer stems plus the additional reach to the hoods and drops that will be lost with a flat bar. Body position and bike handling will be...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

@Cycologist - If you keep the low gear derailleur stop screw adjusted properly to prevent the chain from shifting past the largest cassette cog you will not need what some refer to as a “dork disc”. If you want to be safe and prevent problems from the chain getting jammed between the cassette...

    Show Us Your Bikes

Good eye @Stefan Mikes! I’m also not worthy of the Epic, but I picked up a used 2025 Chisel base model and customized it with spare parts in the garage bin. It’s a fun bike, just a bit heavier than the carbon Epic, and a great training aid - the lack of pedal assist prevents laziness 😉.

    SL 2 Step-Thru

Have you thought about just adding a dropper seatpost? I installed a PNW 90mm dropper on my v1 SL, and it made mounting/dismounting and putting a foot down when stopped much easier. Not to mention more fun downhill and cornering with the seat lower 😉

Does anyone suffer from battery range anxiety like people do with electric vehicles?

Yes, just a singe RE each. And I adjust assist levels so that the bike batteries and my battery both run out at about the same time 😂 Let me know if you decide to go and I can suggest some fun shorter rides and some nice hikes in the area to fill out the trip.
